Here in Australia, camping is a popular weekend getaway for many families. After a long weekend, one of the children came back saying how they roasted marshmallows around the campfire. As our curriculum is strongly guided by the child's voice, my colleagues and I set up this camping area where children could pretend play in small groups, encouraging role-play, language and social skills.
