A large part of my teaching in Kindergarten focuses on social-emotional skills that prepare children for life at school. This activity focused on children identifying a variety of emotions and then re-creating various facial expressions using different types of eyes and mouths. I drew them out on recycled cardboard (gotta be sustainable right!) and then laid them out on a table for children to engage with.
