During covid-19 lockdowns, everyone was just itching to start travelling again and wondering when the borders would open up. It was all we could talk about! And so we set up our Kinder airport for children to pretend to go away on holiday. Even some of the parents joined in the play! Luckily we had a huge cardboard box (thank you Zoe for buying a new fridge!) for our aeroplane. We used garbage bags for the security screen.
I love how this role-play area allowed children to engage in social play as they pretended to be pilots, passengers or ticket masters.
