 Last christmas (2022), my colleagues and I set up two table activities:

- decorating a tree with loose parts. I love how versatile loose parts play is!

Collaborative Christmas Tree

 Instead of putting up a traditional Christmas tree, this yeas (2022) I decided to get the kids to make one of our own. I gave them a green triangle each, some paint, glue and crafty decor items such as sequins and pom poms - then we got to work! Then I put them all together and what a great result!

Christmas countdown

 What a fun version of an advent calendar! Each day, the children get to put a cotton ball on Santa's beard as a way to count how many days until Christmas.
